I'm suffering from Post-Election Depression as a Romney supporter...how can i cope?

Just Jealous

I've been dating this guy for a few months. He calls me all the time, asks me to hang out with him at his place and we hook up, but he never asks me to go out with him anywhere! Is he just a home body or am I just a booty call?

The thing is, there are many nights that he invites me over and we just watch movies or talk – nothing more! I don't really know what to think. I am starting to have strong feelings for him, but I don't want to look like a fool if he is just passing the time with me when he is bored.

My friend and I got laid off from our jobs around the same time last year.  And ever since, we've been a constant support to each other in terms of finding other work and keeping our chins up in the meantime.

But this week, she was offered a jobe with a finance co. and it's a Great job!

I know I should be happy for here, but I'm so freaking jeolous that she landed this sweet gig that I don't even want to talk to her.

She's been so good to me, but I just can't see past my envy right now.

What the heck do I do?

My friend is the worst person to go out to eat with.

When she orders at a restaurant, she takes forever and has so many substitutions and requests, that the rest of us literally shrink in our chairs out of embarrassment.

She even demands that the waiter brings her a small bowl of soup to sample as she orders!

How do we get Tessa to ease up on her ordering before I ban her from ever going to dinner with our circle of friends again?

Thinking of calling it quits with your significant other. You may want to re-think that. Here are some reasons fall is not the best time of year to break up with someone:

• It's the season of apple picking, Halloween parties and early holiday shopping. It's no time to be lonely!
   
• Who wants to be alone on cold and rainy nights? Fall is a great time for cozying up by the fire with someone or walking through the leaves on a crisp afternoon in the park.
   
• There are lots of high school and college reunions in the fall. Who wants to go to those solo?
   
• The holidays are around the corner, and, chances are, you don't want to go to all those family and work gathering alone. Plus, you have someone to kiss on New Year's Eve!  (YourTango)
