Thinking of calling it quits with your significant other. You may want to re-think that. Here are some reasons fall is not the best time of year to break up with someone:
- It's the season of apple picking, Halloween parties and early holiday shopping. It's no time to be lonely!
- Who wants to be alone on cold and rainy nights? Fall is a great time for cozying up by the fire with someone or walking through the leaves on a crisp afternoon in the park.
- There are lots of high school and college reunions in the fall. Who wants to go to those solo?
- The holidays are around the corner, and, chances are, you don't want to go to all those family and work gathering alone. Plus, you have someone to kiss on New Year's Eve! (YourTango)
Just Asking ... When's the best or worst time of year to break up with someone? Why? Do you admit that you are hanging on to someone you really aren't that into ... just because the holidays are coming up?
