Is it ever okay for a man to hit a woman, even if she hit him first?
A huge debate has sparked online after footage of a Cleveland bus driver assaulting a female passenger made it’s rounds on video sharing sites. The video shows the young woman being irate while cursing out the bus driver before hitting him (while he was driving). Mind you, this not only put herself in danger but everyone riding the bus. The bus driver pulled over and in a blink of an eye, he upper cut the girl before pulling her up by her hair and throwing her off the bus.
The young woman managed to get back on the bus and she briefly scuffled with the bus driver. Meanwhile a passenger on the bus yells, ‘That’s a f-cking female’ and the bus driver snaps back, ‘She want to be a man, I’m going to treat you like a man.’
According to the Greater Cleveland Regional transit, the bus driver was suspended and an investigation has been launched:
Upon identifying the driver, he was immediately suspended and removed from duty. His behavior is absolutely unacceptable.
What is the world coming to?
Update: Earlier, the post stated that the passenger was a teenager. It has been confirmed that she is a 25 year old woman.
