DJ Karee was born and raised in Newport News, VA in 1979! His love for music all started when he witnessed his father blending records together. Around eight years old, Karee would sneak on his Pops turntables as often as possible. Not even a year later the young DJ received his first set of turntables and his passion for mixing and scratching was born. In middle school Karee was deejaying at local house parties, and by high school he was pushing his own mix tapes and spinning in major clubs. The ambitious DJ got his first big break at the age of 19 when he was sought after to work for 103Jamz.

You can still hear the unique sounds of DJ Karee every weekend on air or at the hottest clubs.
