Chris Brown and Rihanna‘s relationship is nearly impossible to chart. One day, they’re fine; the next, they’re not speaking. As the tumultuous couple have hit another bump in the road, we’ve learned that Chris, 23, is “sad” over the lack of communication between the two!

A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he and Rihanna, 24, aren’t talking at the moment, and it’s bumming Chris out! “I can’t even tell you what’s going on with them — they ain’t talking right now. I don’t know what the f**k is going on but they ain’t seeing eye to eye on some s**t…So they cool on each other…” our insider says.

“[He's] sad but, you know, that’s how it is sometimes. I know this back and forth s**t ain’t the business for him…but hey, he’ll figure it out.”
