At least three people were killed and several wounded after a gunman opened fire Tuesday afternoon at a Portland, Oregon mall packed with holiday shoppers.
Included in the death toll is the suspected shooter, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot, according to LieutenantJames Rhodes of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
According to witnesses, a man wearing a hockey mask jogged through a Macy's store and headed toward the food court at the Clackamas Town Center mall, located about 11 miles southeast of downtown Portland.
Said one woman, "Everyone ran toward the exits at that point to get out."

"I was in the Macy's store shopping and a slender white man in black, wearing a hockey mask, like a Friday the 13th kind of version of it, sort of a white just plain faced hockey mask, came jogging through the Macy's running toward the public area and he was holding in full view an assault rifle."
