MediaTakeOut.com just learned that BASKETBALL WIVES LA will have a new cast member. Producers are in the FINAL STAGES of negotiating a deal to add new castmate - KARRINE "SUPEREAD" STEFFANS.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "Karrine was not initially interested, but when they came correct with the right money [and are allowing] her to promote her next book, the offer was tough to turn down."

We're told to expect an official announcement by the end of the week.
