The loved-up couple shocked photographers yesterday at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, when they walked the red carpet with Amber sporting a large baby bump. The pair happily posed for photos cradling the model's stomach, finally confirming what has been speculated over the last few weeks.

Speaking for the first time since they confirmed the news, Wiz told MTV News' Sway Calloway why they chose to announce their joyful news in such a public way, similar to how Beyonce revealed she was pregnant with Blue Ivy last year.

"We had to do it with the whole world, and just let everybody know that we're expecting a beautiful little baby, we're so excited...We're having a baby!" a clearly ecstatic Wiz told Sway.

Meanwhile, Amber addressed the announcement on Twitter, writing yesterday evening: "Thx 4 all the Love my Rosebuds & Rosestuds I love u guys so much we're about to have a lil #WizBud join our Rosebud fam Yay!! :-)"

Wiz proposed to Amber back in March after more than a year of dating, and it has been reported that they are pushing their wedding forward ahead of the baby's birth.
