Medical marijuana? Patients in Connecticut will now be able to join their buds in California and other West Coast spots. According to Dr. Bruce Bedrick, CEO of Kind Clinics, a consulting firm for marijuana dispensaries, the drug is available for medical use only. Customers with a prescription would now simply be able to walk up to the machine, swipe a card, have their fingerprints scanned for identity purposes and walk away, green in hand. “It is the most safe, secure, legally compliant marijuana dispensary system available,” Bedrick told WWLP-TV in Massachusetts. “The technology was created in order to have a safe, efficient and regulated way to dispense the drug.” |
