Project Homeless Connect 6 is Fast Approaching... Save The Date: August 21, 2008
We are grateful to the hundreds of community members who have come forward to help our homeless neighbors and hope that you will have a chance to participate in August.

WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES! We will provide you with a Project Homeless Connect T-shirt. Only bring what you can carry (there is no storage area for volunteers’ belongings.)
PACK A SNACK & BRING WATER! We plan to provide all clients and volunteers with lunch and a beverage, but if the food runs out clients will have priority, so bring a snack and water just in case.
RECRUIT A FRIEND! We have positions available to anyone that wants to help. It's not too late. Bring a friend.

Here's Mike Jones moments after Houston rapper Trae the Truth tapped him backstage at the Ozone Awards Sunday night.
Here's what Mike Jones has to say about the incident.
"I went to Ozone Awards with family. I went with my whole family -- My mama came with me. I wasn't coming on no stuff like that. [Trae] walked over there and shook my hand man. 'What's up bro?' I said, 'What's up?' Then he talked to me about what I said on G-Man's show. He mad 'cause I call myself the President,...He said 'I don't like how you on the radio saying how you the president.' When he said that, I was like 'Damn dog, I didn't say nothing about you,' but I said 'Right here ain't the place.' Alright, alright. I turned around, he turned around. Next thing you know, he tried to hit me from behind."
